"Go Ahead and Blossom"

Spring has finally arrived, and with it comes a refreshing of God's physical prosperity in the creative order. (plants, grass, vegetation etc.)  How's the refreshing in your neck of the woods?

Has taxes, anxiety, the feeling of burnout come over you like a flood?  Has your relationship with God, your church, family, and friends seemed to come under attack?  I know for many the answer is yes;  Don't fret!  God is at work.  Many that are now living on the edge of  a quiet desperation; sensing that sort of "just here" feeling; take courage in knowing that God is at work.  God will use all of these and other feelings of depression, depravation, disappointment, let down, betrayal, and the like to usher you into a higher level of spiritual growth and maturity.

Our enemy will always launch a constant attack.  He knows that God is causing a "Springtime Move" in His human creation.  There are many that have made a serious, and sincere effort to have their strength renewed, and are seeking God with their whole heart.  You who have made the decision to exercise a genuine, and abiding faith, have undoubtedly experienced that just about the time that you feel you have gotten your act together; you are now ready to experience the washing, and refreshing of the Holy Spirit, the enemy seems to have crept in. Romans 5:3-5, and James 1:1-4, makes it clear that maturation is a process.  Each level yields the necessary strength to progress in a way that will not only make us stronger in our faith but  that we will be complete and lacking nothing!

"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life." (Jude 1: 20-21)  We have the power of God, working through us as believers to overcome all that the enemy sends our way.  Regardless of what you may "feel" today, just know that God is working it out for your good.  During this season of Spring, make up your mind that you will blossom, and that the word of God is your fertilizer, and that His Holy Spirit is likened unto your "Roundup" pesticide, killing the weeds of negativity, fear, anxiety, complacency, and doubt in your life, even down to their very root.

Be determined, and steadfast to rejoice anyhow; and again, I say REJOICE!  Praise God on purpose, with a purpose.  God is our refuge, a very present help in the time of trouble.  You can go to the Rock of Our Salvation, and there you will find the cool refreshing water of the Holy Spirit.  Be as the man in Psalms 1, be planted by the rivers of water receiving a daily, and constant flow of all that you need; for God is the Source of all our resources.

You can trust God.  Meditate on these words...Isaiah 41:10, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Go Ahead and Blossom...Be Blessed!
